Apartman studio Stari Grad 2

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was exceptionally clean, in a perfect location right in the heart of Stari Grad, and offered amazing value for money. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay—we didn’t miss a thing. The bed was super comfortable, and it was such a thoughtful touch to find cold bottled water waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived. We were also pleasantly surprised to find insect screens on the windows and doors, which made a huge difference during the summer evenings. The terrace had a lovely view and was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a morning coffee. Adica’s mum welcomed us on arrival and was incredibly kind, hospitable and cute. She helped us with our bags and was there for any questions we had during our stay. Please say hello and give huge thank to her from us! We truly felt welcome and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The only small thing that could be improved was the stove in the kitchen. It was a bit difficult for us to use, and the heat seemed inconsistent. It might simply be that we didn’t know the proper way to operate it, so there may be a trick to it. We also noticed that after turning it off, it sometimes didn’t seem to switch off completely. Just mentioning it in case it’s worth checking. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Perfect location, great hosts, house with "soul"

Stairways are not for faint-hearted :)

The one room apartment was self contained with what you need on holiday. We were on the top floor (2nd), accessed via a spiral staircase (above the 1st floor apartment), which was also the access to the roof terrace. Tip: don't bring big sized luggage because you will have to carry it up the spiral staircase! On arrival, the host was pleasant, though I never saw this lady again; an older lady [mother and daughter?] lived in the ground floor apartment, who was very pleasant.

We happened to stay during a hot spell, when the overnight temperature was not below 28 degrees centigrade. In the apartment, it felt a few degrees more. However, to my surprise, I was told that the air conditioning could not be used between 22:00 and 07:00.
