Paris - Tournelles - Place des Vosges

This small street level apartment was PERFECT for my 7 week solo stay. It is exactly as advertised and looks out on the pleasant plant filled inner courtyard rather than the street, so it was quiet. Every morning the courtyard smells of croissants baking two doors down at a GREAT bakery. The kitchen area is very compact but well appointed. There is a washer/dryer, that was not mentioned in the listing but I much appreciated. The sleeping area with a comfortable full size bed is not completely private (no door) but it is apart from the sitting/kitchen area. I do think this place would be a bit small for more than two people but there is a nice pull-out futon/couch that sleeps two. The neighborhood is just fabulous, with beautiful Place des Vosges just around the corner. Easy metro and bus access within a block. The kind hosts were very helpful and responsive, although I suspect they may experience the same challenges as guests do with the difficult VRBO platform/system.
