Lovely house, grounds and location. The kids loved the swimming pool and the play barn! Kitchen is well equipped. We had massages from Catherine who came to the house, which I would highly recommend! We were 4 adults and 6 kids from 1 yr old to 11 yrs old and it was a good size for us all. Need to take some care with the stairs and the little ones but fine once they got used to them. A lovely place

What a treat to stay in this beautiful Brittany stone house. Our family loved the space and everyone had room to loose themselves. The grounds just absorbed us in beauty, light and shade of dappled trees and tranquil sunsets over yellow wheat fields, recently cut and bailed. We were back in time. The children loved the games barn and the pool was just right. The area is lovely and a local beach (20mins drive) recommended by Anne was perfect. Dinan, a must to visit, 8 minutes by car. It was the very best of places to celebrate my birthday.

Super place to stay - pool perfect and barn with games etc was great for kids. Outside space the real highlight. Easy drive to village with bakery and bar. 7 mins to large supermarket. Not far to lovely beaches and Dinan. Anne was kind and helpful.

We were a group of seven, 5 adults and 2kids. The property is on 6 hectares, almost at the end of the village , very secluded. The owner (super friendly and attentive) welcome and guide us from the start to the end of our stay. . The property is gorgeous, the house is big,love the washer and dryer. The kids had a blast . Love to come back .

Lovely gite in extensive grounds with lots of things for the children...who spent most of the time running around outside entertaining themselves. The highlight of the week for the 2 year old was feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs in the evening - thanks to the kindness of the host Anne. Inside the house is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. There is a huge TV but sadly no access to english/american programmes. Thank goodness for the wifi. We did not go out everyday since the children were happy at the house. But we did visit Dinan which was lovely - and the seaside town of Dinard which was reminiscent of the english seaside towns of my childhood. The children also went to the Aquarium and the Zoo. My only regret is that I did not find the traditional french baguette of my memories despite extensive searching. We concluded that either British bread has improved significantly - or my memory is deceptive! On the way to the site we went via Portsmouth/Caen with a 2 hour drive down to Brittany. On our return we came back via St Malo which was much easier. If we go again to Quevert, we will book earlier to ensure a night sailing to St Malo.

Our family (age range 10 to 77) spent Christmas week at La Hunaudaye, Domain du Bois Riou and had possibly the best Christmas ever 'en famille'. It is the most beautiful restored farm, with masses of room for up to 10 people. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, the beds good, the bathrooms warm and light, the main living/dining room has an enormous fireplace which we used a lot for 'ambiance'. The TV/computer room, reading/play rooms ensured that there was space for many activities. In particular the enormous games barn was highly appreciated by young and old as were the delightful animals and chickens. It was good to find willing consumers of waste food such as potato peelings! In season it is possible to have fresh vegetables, honey and eggs from the estate. Two of our party are major walkers and spent happy hours, often before breakfast as well as after, touring around the large estate, the local village and the magnificent coast (about 30 min drive to Cap Frehel). Although the setting of the gite is entirely rural, it is 3 min drive from a large supermarket and 5 min from the major facilities and attractions of the lovely town of Dinan. St Malo (30 min) and Mont St Michel (1h) are within easy reach. We found the gite with no problems, and the first sight of the lake, the splendid trees and lovely old buildings told us we were going to love this place. Our hostess Anne could not have been more helpful and is a mine of local information. We will return if we possibly can, and have told all our friends it is paradise for families.

We absolutely loved our stay with Anne in Quevert. The property was gorgeous and located in a quiet, rural setting close by Dinan. The house was immaculate and had plenty of space. Our 2 year old loved the toy room and exploring the property and all the animals, especially the baby goat. Anne was wonderful to deal with and answered all our questions pre-stay and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

This is a perfect house for a holiday in Brittany! Location is very central, the house has got everything you need. Our children especially liked the ping-pong table and the trampoline!

We had a fantastic vacation at the Domaine du Bois Riou. The family Charre were great hosts at their beautiful farm. We were two families that met up for a Brittany vacation and the house was wonderful and accommodated 9 easily. The 2 full bathrooms and a separate WC. 5 wonderful bedrooms and a great kitchen fully equipped with plenty of plates glasses and flatware made for a great vacation home. The kids enjoyed the barn with table tennis and many of "toys" able to keep preteens off their devices :-). Our boys also manage to arrange several football games with the local french boys which put big smiles on their faces. We all enjoyed the trail run right behind the property and around the local town. The property is beautiful and we can highly recommend the Domaine for a great vacation.
