About this house rental
On the Alabaster Coast, 10 km from the beaches and villages of Veules-les-Roses and St Valéry-en-Caux, in the heart of the Pays de Caux, we welcome you to a cottage for 10 people of 180 m2 independent on 2500m2 of land.
This cottage is built on the basis of an 1830 carthouse that we moved and restored. It combines the Cauchoise tradition (half-timbering, cob, sandstone and St Jean bricks) and a Zen and modern interior.
For your relaxation, a living-dining room and kitchen area, bathroom with shower, toilet and 2 bedrooms with 160 cm bed and laundry room.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a bed of 160 and a second bedroom with 2 beds of 90, toilet and bathroom with shower as well as a TV area with sofa bed of 140.

The house was a perfect spot to explore eastern Normandy, we drove up to Gris Nez to look at the Cliffs of Dover and, on the other side, the Town of Honfleur was amazing. Great restaurants in every direction and wonderful scenery, especially Veiulles les Roses and St Valery en Caux. The house could have used more instruction in English, we had trouble with the internet and turning on the heat to take the night's chill off. Maybe where to get firewood? But Jean-Marc and Catherine were great hosts, on the morning of the departure our car was dead, after a quick email they found a mechanic to come out and get us rolling within 30 minutes. Were we psyched, thanks again!

Everything was as written in the advertisement. House is really for 8-10 people, and so is the availability of kitchen utensils, glasses etc. Spacious house, quiet area. One little thing: there was a problem with the Internet, but not inside the house, but with Orange FR. A cable or something. We found an OK solution for it though.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for a group of 7 in 3 generations. The nearby seaside town of St Valery-en Caux was brilliant for the children.
