CASAMYRTA consists of two large vacation rentals, CASA ALBITRU and CASA ROSUMARINU, plus a small vacation rental, CASA AMANDULU.
The property spans one hectare of farmland planted with olive trees, holm oaks, palm trees, and fruit trees. It is surrounded by the maquis of a large valley situated at the foot of majestic mountains and opening onto the Gulf of Calvi. From your vacation rental, you can see six of the most beautiful villages in Balagne. Calvi, with its citadel overlooking fine sandy beaches and vertiginous cliffs rising from a turquoise sea, is 8 km away.
Calenzana, an authentic village on the edge of the Bonifatu Forest, is less than 2 km away. It serves as the starting point for numerous shaded trails and the legendary GR20. It is also the venue for the Rencontres Musicales, which take place in August.
CASAMYRTA, protected by its river-stone wall, blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. It is built using natural, bioclimatic materials such as local tuff and lime wash. The surrounding garden features species of the maquis and trees endemic to the region. A soothing atmosphere awaits you when you return from your eventful day of exploration.
CASA ALBITRU features a large living-dining room with a separate kitchen, as well as a bathroom/toilet on the first floor. On the first floor, you’ll find two large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with a shower and toilet. The private landscaped garden features shaded terraces, two outdoor dining areas, a sink, an outdoor summer shower, and a barbecue.
Car and motorcycle parking is available on the enclosed, fenced-in property.

Our favorite accommodation during a 2 week trip. Roberta was a fantastic and kind host, the home is beautifully set in the shrubland with fantastic sunset views. A pleasant 15-minute walk to Calenzana gets you to a fantastic bakery (L'Amadeus), restaurants, and a small grocery store. The two patios allow you to eat and relax in the sun or shade, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable. A really fantastic experience, highly recommended.

We had a lovely time in CASA ALBITRU. The house is pleasantly decorated, well-organized , good equipped, clean and set in a carefully groomed garden. Images can not say enough.
The owners were great hosts.
We entirely recommend this house.

We had a very nice week in CASA ALBITRU.
We found the house better than described, it is absolutely clean and well equipped.
It is very suitable for doing both: bathing in the Bay of Calvi / discovering Calvi and the Balagne or walking in the hills of the Balagne / mountaineering in the Cirque de Bonifatu.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
We will come back some day!
