About this villa rental
Villa Cypress lies 10 minutes away from the sea in the green hills above Poreč and Novigrad. The villa and its surrounding park were designed by an English architect and artist in the typical regional country house style. Surrounded by 4000 m2 of private garden and park, the recently renovated and family friendly villa offers its guests maximum recreation and full privacy. The villa comes with: 4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, a large living room with an open fire place, a modern and fully equipped kitchen, 2 Terraces, outdoor pool, BBQ place, boule track, garage + additional space for two cars, a washing machine, WIFI, Satellite TV as well as central heating and air condition.
Pets are wellcome, alowed 2 pets. Pet fee 25 €per pet per day.
Kaštelir lies in the hills above Novigrad (14km) and Poreč (15km). The village is dominated by vineyards and olive farms. Embedded in the beautiful and green countryside 250m above sea level, it offers a pleasant microclimate. The rural area around the village provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, while offering close proximity to the sea and the larger cities of Istria.
The air-conditioned accommodation is 25 km from Rovinj. The villa is fitted with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with pool views. The villa offers a sun terrace.
Portorož is 25 km from Villa Cypress, while Opatija is 48 km from the property. The nearest airport is Pula Airport, 49 km from the accommodation.

Es hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen. Ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem riesigen wilden Garten, kaum Einsicht von außen. An Ausstattung/Equipment hat nichts gefehlt. Lage: ca. 10Min. zu sämtlichen Supermärkten, ca. 15Min nach Porec. Ein schönes Haus mit insg. 4 Schlafzimmern und Bädern, ein Zimmer mit Bad ist eine bezaubernde Einliegerwohnung direkt vom Garten zu begehen.
Zu bemängeln war, dass der Abfluss der Dusche und des Waschbeckens im kleinen Bad im 1. Obergeschoss komplett verstopft waren und das Wasser kaum abfließen konnte.
Im Wohnraum hätte es durchaus ein bisschen sauberer sein können... für meinen Geschmack zu viele Spinnweben. Böden, Küche und Bäder waren sehr sauber.
Wir lieben Hunde und wir hatten 10 Jahre lang selbst einen Hund, aber wirklich nervtötend war das Hundegebell der Hunde im Hundezwinger gegenüber - ca. 200m entfernt von der Terrasse. Von abends bis morgens haben die Hunde ununterbrochen gebellt, mindestens 4 Hunde. Das ging die ganze Nacht durch... Bei Party und lauter Musik bekommt man davon natürlich nichts mit, in gemütlicher Runde allerdings schon.
Fazit: tolle Lage, viel Platz (wir waren nur 6 Personen), gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wer die Ruhe sucht muss mit Hundegebell klarkommen. Ohne nächtliches Gekläffe würde ich sogar nochmal dort hin.
