La Dovecote Sarlat

Exceptionally beautiful location and the property is just as beautiful. We loved everything about staying at La Dovecote, from the beautifully cooked and presented breakfast, the think fluffy towels to the crisp spotless bed linen, the immaculately clean pool and grounds, top quality crockery & food, literally every attention to detail you will find taken care of and all your possible requirements met. We would highly recommend staying here, whether you’re a couple like us or a family, Paul and Vanessa take care of you and your family so extremely well. Thank you for helping to make our stay in the Dordogne so memorable. Thanks for all the recommendations of the many interesting places to visit, we enjoyed every minute. We hope to see you again in the future.

It was such a pleasure to stay at La Dovecote, the serenity and beauty of the surroundings , particularly the lovely, well kept gardens were a joy. Vanessa and Paul were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We hope to be able to return one day. Lizx

Lovely little shower room, but I would have liked a small shelf for all the toiletries, but it did not spoil our visit a wonderful visit.

Vanessa has created a most comfortable and inviting French countryside retreat. Her delicious breakfasts, her friendly chats, and her availability to provide for any of our needs made our stay so wonderful. The serene setting, the poolside naps, the strolls around the property made me feel at home.

Just needed to be extra cautious when driving the country roads from Sarlat to La Dovecoat at night but SO worth staying in the countryside
