Casa by Anita Guesthouse is a luxurious stop on the Camino. I’ve had many wonderful experiences in Portugal, but It is by far the best! Anita pampers her guests and creates a home away from home feeling where one can feel most comfortable. She is a wonderful cook and prepared a delicious meal- perfection!

Anita was super kind, friendly, conversational and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable. The house was so clean you can eat off the floor. I loved the AC on a 90 degrees night! Her dogs were well behaved and precious. They were so clean.
We loved everything. Be sure to order the farm to table dinner. I am still dreaming about the fish she served. I wish I can stay at Anita’s casa every night for my Camino walk. Buen Camino!

Located almost directly on the Camino, loved the room, the bathrobe, the TV, the adorable dogs and of course Anita :)

Staying at 'Casa by Anita' was the HIGHLIGHT of our Camino! From the time Anita greeted us to the time she said goodbye, she felt like family. She is one of the kindest, most warm people we have ever met. Not only is she a WONDEFUL PERSON but she is an INDREDIBLE HOST! Her home is beautiful, the rooms and bathrooms are well appointed, and the beds are heavenly. Anita thought of every detail. We were also served a delicious farm to table dinner and a divine breakfast. And to top it off, Anita's home is literally right on the Camino so the location couldn't have been more perfect. We already miss her and can't wait to go back someday. Oh and her dogs are just the cutest and were the icing on the cake to our stay. :)
