The mattresses were too soft for us but that's a personal choice.

The Log Burner & Kindle was a nice touch. The issue we had upon arrival with the broken window latch was rectified as soon as we reported it which was appreciated as we felt this was a safety issue.

The broken ground floor window latch upon arrival. When reported we were initially informed that the area was a safe one! We felt this response was unprofessional as it was a safety issue and anyone could have got in . The Conservatory had no ceiling cover from the blazing sun and made it uncomfortable to sit in. There were curtains to the widows. No blinds or nets so no privacy when the curtains were open. Therefore we just kept them closed for the duration of our stay. We stayed for 4 days & were given 2 Bath towels each which was adequate but no Hand Towels.? We were left only one & a half toilet rolls for 4 days so had to get more! The corner of the front step has a bit missing & could be a health & safety issue. The smaller pans we used for cooking did not fit safely on the cooker as it appeared the grills were bent & too large for some of the pans? The location of this property was up hill from Padstow so a steep walk down & an exceptionally steep walk back up the hill. This should be mentioned in the description as an important factor. We paid extra for taxis due to this issue. The multi coloured bedding appeared tired & well worn.& was full of creases . The bottom sheet did not fit well & often came away from the corners to reveal a mattress topper that definitely needs replacing. All in all a bit of a disappointment due to the above issues which if rectified would definitely make the stay more comfortable.

The property is stunning. Adequately furnished for all your needs. 1 double bedroom, I single both decent size. Bathroom has a shower and there is a “chill out” area in the centre of the property. The kitchen has everything you need should you wish to stay in. Perfect location with a Tesco a few mins walk and to Padstow , the walk was about 10 mins. There is a bus stop close by. Free parking which is rare in Cornwall so that’s an added bonus!

This is a fabulous place. Hidden away. We were visiting family so was great to let them come to ‘ours’ for a change for a cuppa. We will be back, we loved it. The scones were an added bonus too - thank you.

Warm welcoming host. Everything we needed to just set our bags down and start relaxing. Loved the bonus homemade cream tea! 😋

No negatives! Perfect spot. Very short stroll down to the harbour and anything you may need.

Great location, and included parking. Had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable bed, had 4 great night's sleep. Milk, scones, jam & cream were very welcome, along with the coffee and tea bags.

Whole annex to ourselves. Spotless and comfortable….and some welcomes scones, clotted cream and jam 😀 Big bathroom and big sofa. Great location too for the town. Regular busses up the hill if you didn’t fancy the walk back up.

It was hot but you can’t blame the weather. A huge fan helped.

A lovely spacious clean place to stay in a perfect quiet location with parking on site. gorgeous cosy wood burner if you feel chilly and Donna has provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Spacious annex with everything you need, quiet, friendly host, really appreciated the scones for our first breakfast ! About 10-15 minutes walk to town centre.

A very minor point - the living area being a conservatory you get both advantages (sun!) and disadvantages (gets hot quickly and lots of light in the morning)

situated close to the main harbour and coastline for long walks. the accommodation was clean and tidy and the log fire is a lovely touch.

The shower was spacious and would benefit from a bigger shower head. the kitchen is well equipped but I wasn’t able to find an oven glove. small things that did not spoil the holiday.
