The Millers Cottage

Stunning location. Near to beautiful towns and Newmarket racecourse. We also visited nearby villages and Ely cathedral. The visit surpassed all my expectations! James was a gracious and hospitable host, who clearly has a passion for the property. It is impeccably kept, so clean with amazing decor! James even supplied us with milk, tea, coffee and biscuits after our long journey! Nothing was too much trouble. The windmill is stunning both inside and out! The garden is private but has widespread views of cornfields and endless beauty! We loved the hot tub, barbecue, fish pond and stunning garden. It is a haven of wildlife full of honey bees, lady birds, chickens, lamas, butterflies…. You make it! James provided all local information and recommendations for local shops and eateries as well as a written folder full of information on the property, its journey and restoration! The place is absolute perfection! It’s an absolute hidden gem.

I didn’t like having to leave! We will 100% be back. What a place and location! Absolute perfection!

Loved the location, the quiet and the closeness to Cambridge. The host was very nice and gave us ideas as where to eat dinner or where a shop is. The property is beautiful and the garden and the surroundings are just stunning!
