Město je stále poznamenané uplynulou válkou, má spoustu nedostatků, ale vše je vykompenzováno úžasnými lidmi a nezaměnitelnou balkánskou atmosférou. Město je bezpečné, lidé přátelští, řidiči strašní a ceny nízké.
Co se týká ubytování, paní domácí je neskutečně starostlivá, sympatická, veselá a pohostinná. Byla to během pobytu v Sarajevu taková naše bosenská máma.
Někdo by mohl považovat za negativum zmatky na silnici, ale já jsem si to užil do posledního zatroubení.

Very nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood, up on a hill with incredible views of the city. The hosts were unbelievably hospitable; our car broke down right outside the apartment, but they did everything to help us out: the entire family pushed the car several times, they made dozens of phone calls to local mechanics, and finally they gave us two rides to Eastern Sarajevo where the car was finally repaired.
It was difficult to regulate the water temperature in the bathroom
