As other people have mentioned, the Riad is even better than the photos. It’s absolutely stunning, spacious, and can easy hold 11-13 people. The property is only half the story, the team who manage the Riad are amazing. Mohammed was on vacation but was in touch prior to our stay, Hamzah has excellent local knowledge and always willing to help. khadija’s cooking is very tasty and she is always very helpful. Must try her homemade Tajine and breakfasts weee varied and we never felt like we were under pressure to purchase anything and was really home away from home. A special mention for Rachid, who could not do enough and was on hand practically nearly 24-7. If I was a hotelier in Morocco or beyond, this guy would be a great addition. The location is very close to a number of spots. It’s much quieter than the square which is a 15-20 min walk from the Riad. This is a traditional location so you have to be prepared for alley ways and interaction with local people. It’s a really local feel and makes the experience even more enjoyable. The Souks closer to the Riad, are much quieter and better for pricing and there are a couple of good spots close by too. The Riad comes with a small plunge pool enough to sit and relax but not much more and the water is very very cold. The Riad caters for everything and you really find it hard to leave for days out.

Some of the shower areas need a bit of a scrub, and something to improve the temperature of the pool. These would be very minor minor improvements and didn’t detract in any way from the experience.

Everything!! The location of Riad Espoir was perfect for meandering around Marrakesh. Close to all the sites and souks. The riad itself is breathtakingly beautiful and exquisite. The pictures on line do not do it justice - it was so very elegant. We loved our rooms and the common areas. Especially the rooftop deck with lounge chairs and another dining area.

This riad is a true gem in the heart of Marrakech. It offers an exquisite blend of beauty, elegance, and authentic Moroccan design. The property is immaculately clean, thoughtfully styled, and visually captivating in every detail. The hospitality was outstanding. Rachid, Lala Khadija, and Mohammed provided warm, attentive service throughout our stay. Rachid’s mint tea and coffee became a daily delight, and Mohammed’s thoughtful birthday cake made our celebration unforgettable. We felt safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for from start to finish. Perfect for families and groups, the riad offers a peaceful sanctuary after a day in the bustling medina. We were truly sad to leave and look forward to returning. Highly recommended.
