All was very good.. the quiet location was wonderful, and the views particularly of the mountains from rear terrace were adorable. We did like the visits from the resident cats, who were very friendly. The weather over the Christmas period was just ideal, compared to being in the UK ( 20 degrees most days )
Sorry to say collecting the Keys did not go to plan. We were informed by Booking. com that our room was number 22. So, we got the key from the indicated box but it would not open the door... It was late at night after a long day .. a long flight and an hours drive in the dark from the airport.
Thankfully a member of the family turned up just in time to the rescue (To be fair we had only been struggling for 5 mins..but a little concearned where we were going to sleep that night... ! ) Apparently, this is an error perpetuated by the instructions that Booking.com. The owners have tried in vain for them to change the instructions.
Just a couple of comments... The kitchen area could benifit with an extractor fan as there was alot of condensaition while cooking.( However this would be quite difficult with the cooker being in the middle of the room and far from an outside wall.) A tea pot would have been much appreciated!

It’s position to Latchi beach ! Very clean had everything provided including TV and Wi Fi
Think it would be nice to have a mirror over the dressing table as hairdryer cord didn’t reach the long mirror!

The studio is in a small building of a few apartments. It is modern and open plan. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very good. The kitchen featured a 2 ring hob and oven, toaster and kettle, fridge, freezer and washing machine. It was well stocked with everything you could need including cleaning products for washing up and washing, basic condiments and a starter pack of water, coffee etc. There was even foil and cling film. It has a balcony at the rear which catches the morning sun and has a table and 2 chairs. At the front there is a space to sit and catch the evening sun. It is in a quiet location equidistant (about 2km) from Polis old town and Latsi port. It is only apart 100 metres from the sea as the crow flies. There’s loads of space to park right outside and there are a number (?8) of friendly cats who they obviously look after. The walk down to the port is nearly all along a path right behind the beach and there are plenty of restaurants there. We ate in four of them and didn’t have a bad meal. The walk to town is not quite as appealing but it is down a quiet road and past the hospital. There are a number of restaurants in the old part of Polis. We ate in one and again the food was good. However the best meal in our view was at the small, I assume family run restaurant, Christos karouzis which is just past the hospital and slightly out of town (and hence closer to the apartment). It had a really traditional feel and an enormous meze which we thoroughly enjoyed. The other places felt more tourist oriented but the service was always good and it was never excessively expensive. There are plenty of supermarkets around the town to support any level of self catering if that is what you prefer.
I have nothing but praise for this accommodation and we also liked Polis and Latsi which felt nowhere near as brash and over-developed as Paphos. The only negative I can drum up, which is not about the apartment itself, is that Polis is at one extreme end of Cyprus. Paphos is an hour away and reaching other key parts of the island involves passing through Paphos and hence quite a lot of driving. That said if you are into the great outdoors, there is plenty of hiking, biking, 4WD off roading and water based activities to keep you happy just around Polis

Auf der einen Seite hat man den Meerblick, auf der anderen den Blick in die Berge. Kurze Wege zum Strand.
Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar.
Die Ikea-Möbel wirkten etwas kühl und charmlos. Da alles in einem Raum ist, stört der Kühlschrank nachts etwas, da er quasi ständig brummt.
