Beach house with top sea view and pool

This is a beautiful holiday home in a quiet location. It was a short steep walk to 3 excellent restaurants (La Terrazza, Alcanada35 & the beach bar) A few minutes drive to Old Alcúdia or the port area for lots more restaurants, jet skiing, boat hire & quad biking - we had a lot of fun! We also recommend visiting S’Illot beach & restaurant for snorkelling & hiking the hills behind and a visit to one of the organic vineyards for a guided tasting & meal - our favourite was Los Dos Cabelleros near Inca. It was hot & humid so we appreciated the aircon in all bedrooms as well as the living area although it was far less efficient in the master suite which gets full sun most of the day. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for 5/6 adults & the washing machine & line in the back garden are very useful. There are some excellent hikes/running trails nearby & good sea swimming from the pebble beach at the bottom of the hill. We had no hot water for 9 days with workmen arriving on our first morning to assess a problem which was known about before we arrived but which we hadn’t been alerted to. Vrbo offered to move us to another villa at the hosts expense but we declined thinking it would only be a couple of days. It was then a frustratingly slow process to get it fixed, not to mention unpleasant to have cold showers unless paying for a hotel room or gym pass. We felt the host couldn’t really be bothered to help us out & it spoilt our enjoyment of an otherwise excellent holiday.

The house is really nice. The surrounding is very quiet and the view from the house is stunning. The villa is very well equiped, each room has its own bathroom and loo (although one of them was leaking, so we couldn't use it). As we arrived on Saturday the pool had green colour and wasn't clean. I had to ask the owner twice to manage the issue. We could use it (clean enouhg) first on Tuesday. This was a pity. The owner wasn't responding anymore. We wanted to throw the kitchen trash in the bin outside the house, because it started to smell, but no response from the owner. There is no beach equipment. We had to buy it and them leave it in the house, because it was impossible to take it on the plane.

This was simply the best holiday we've ever had! The villa is spectacular; nice amount of space, stunning views and good sized pool for a young family. The villa was clean when we arrived. We had some issues with the water and air conditioning, but these were fixed by the management company very quickly. The contractors were very respectful. The pool was cleaned during our stay. The villa was very well equipped. We even met the owner who was very pleasant and gave our children a pair of scooters to use during our stay! Having a car was very helpful. We hope to return next year! 5 stars

All was fine but the matress are too soft they must be renew. So you can have a better rest at night
