About this house rental

Welcome to the Mallard Manor in downtown Boerne! This homey VRBO is just a short stroll to Main Street where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques! It is located next door to one of Boerne's most iconic restaurants & breweries, The Dodging Duck. Enjoy great food, live music, drinks & explore all that Boerne has to offer! Want to stay in & relax? Pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee & watch your favorite shows, sports or movies on the 65'' flatscreen.

The Cibolo Creek park / trail which is located directly across the street from the house is open. It went under a major renovation over the last 6+ months and turned out great! Perfect area to walk your dog, run the trails or relax & read your favorite book. Fishing is allowed, but is catch & release (bring your own rod & tackle).

Are you bringing your fur babies on vacation? Now they'll have a fenced in area to roam around! I just installed a little dog run on the side of the house in the yard, so now your pup will have a little room to let out a little energy as well as do their business. Please pick up after your dog :) Also, while using the dog run, guests must supervise their dog at all times. Please do not leave your dog in the area unattended.

I came with my mom to celebrate our birthdays in Boerne. We had the best stay at Mallard Manor. It was the perfect size for the two of us and my dog. And the walk to the shops and restaurants were super convenient. My mom is 74 and has some mobility issues, but she was easily able to manage the walk to the Main Street area and back. And loved having the river walk park area to walk my dog. The home was very clean and comfortable. We had a minor issue come up during our stay and the owner was very responsive and quick to resolve it which was so appreciated.

Enjoyed staying here! It was so close to the Main St. it also had a brewhaus right across the street that had great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed crossing the street to walk the trail along the Cibolo Creek. There are so many restaurants and breweries just a little walk away. We will stay here again.

The house was very nice and in a great location. There is a walking park right there and only a short walk to the shops on main street. The host check in with us to see if we needed anything or any help. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Mallard Manor for two nights with my mom and our two dogs. My first impression: this place is CLEAN, well organized, and maintained. We spent the weekend walking across the street to the brewery next door, shopping downtown, and creating art. The AC was cold, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect. My only.complaint is minor: the traffic is a bit loud .But i can easily look past that because everything else was even better than expected.

A friend and I stayed here on Mother's Day weekend. The house is charming and was very clean. The owner was extremely responsive. The bed are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We did not cook there so take that into consideration but it seemed to have all the necessary items. The location is close to everything and it's nice being right next door to a good restaurant and across the street from the river. There is traffic noise so if that bothers you, bring a noise machine or earplugs. Had a great time!

My sister and i enjoyed our time here! We ate at Peggy on the Green and a family owned cafe the Hungry Horse. Both within walking distance. Heard good things about the bar and grille next door just didn't have time. Surprisingly quiet as well. There is some traffic noise but nothing that interrupted anything we were doing! Caleb was great and responded to my three questions in a very timely and courteous way! I would stay again!

The house was as described and a little more. It is a well kept, clean and enjoyable option to a hotel. Host provided more than could be expected including drinks and snacks. The location is prefect for our family get togethers in town and many more options. The restaurant across the street is a bonus and the live music shuts down at 930pm which was an initial concern. We will be back to this location and will ot even look for something else.

The property is in a great location. Close to all the shops and restaurants in Boerne, within walking distance to most. The park across the street is very nice - took a walk and jog on the trail every day. The ducks are fun to watch. The house was very clean. It is an older home and I didn't expect to have all the modern ammenities. It worked for us for a few days. The only thing to know if you rent this home is the noise is loud from the street. It is a main road through Boerne. Traffic noise starts at 6 am during the week. For a short trip, the noise was not that big of a deal. Thanks to the owner for being so responsive when the wi-fi went out for a short time. It was fixed quickly.

There is a charming park across the street with ducks and wading birds and a walking trail along the river. House was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.
