We had a thanksgiving dinner at the cabin and struggled to have some basic cooking needs. No measuring cups/spoons. A front burner on the stove didn't work. It seemed like the cookware was old and just leftovers from home that no one wanted any more. It would have been nice to have an electric hand beater, a blender or some other applicances. Cleanliness. An old rag was behind the main bathroom door, we think to prevent the door knob hitting the wall. Bathroom rugs were kind of gross. A child found under an upstair bed an open can of beer half full. That was distrubing. The basement toilet was not very stable to sit on. It moved. The Kitchen table was great with the benches and could fit alot of people. The coffee table was pretty, but dangerous with children around. It had sharp edges so we moved it to a bedroom. The fireplace didn't work, just used the fake fireplace heater to warm the room. It would have been nice to have a chair in a bedroom or something to sit on besides a bed in the basement. Other VRBO houses I've stayed at had some other things besides a TV or a board game to entertain. I could have paid more to have toys, or high chair, that is kind of ridiculous when you pay so much to stay. And being Indiana in the winter we got 6 inches of snow and there was no snow shovel to help with cleaning off the stairs, or help to get cars out. Plenty of beds and private rooms for families to stay with their own children. Won't stay again though.

This is a great property! We stayed here for my husband’s birthday and the Purdue football game. Getting an Uber here was very easy. Great common space for gathering. Kitchen could use pots and pans for a larger crowd, but we made it work. Lots of beds and dishes. Great location where we didn’t feel like we were disturbing anyone with kid noise or our laughter. Very peaceful and able to disconnect. Thank you.

Only 2 out of 3 bathrooms were working for the 9 of us, which wasn’t enough. There was not sufficient fry pans for cooking meals for 9 people.
