Great views of the lake and kayaking was so fun. House overall is nice, unfortunately we couldn’t grill because propane tanks were empty and we didn’t want to pay to fill for just a weekend and some burgers. We had some issues with things not functioning- lamps in bedroom and living room and tv in master. We didn’t reach out to anyone since we were only there for two nights and were mostly outside so they might’ve fixed it. Close to a grocery store and hot springs amenities which is great.

The Pros:The house is cute, nicely updated, lake front with beautiful views. It was clean when we checked in. It has a well-stocked kitchen. Bedding/beds were decent, and plenty of towels. Access to the lake is super easy for kayaking/boating/swimming.The Cons: This would be a 5 Star review except for-Vacasa management is too corporate, disconnected, and not geared to quality customer service any more. When we checked in we realized that none of the lamps in the living room or the bedside table lamps worked. I reached out to Vacasa and received a message that local management would be in touch with us. 5 days later and we still had not heard from anyone. We bought lightbulbs, and the lamps still didn’t work. Checkout day we were under tornado/severe storm warnings. There was heavy lightening over the lake and torrential rain. We notified Vacasa that we would check-out when the storm danger passed. The local Vacasa rep told us to stay in place. The corporate rep sent a message that they saw no storm warnings and demanded we vacate at 10:00am or we would be considered trespassing. I sent screen shots of the weather service warnings. There are at least a dozen feral cats living around this property and the male Tomcats fight a lot. The yard is not fenced so if you’re traveling with dogs just beware.There is goose poop all over the lawn. I also cleaned up a lot of dog poop. The two exterior decks are in desperate need of handrails. The stairs are narrow and steep.
