“Change Your Altitude” is a ground floor condo that sleeps four in two separate rooms. You will NOT find a better location in Bend, just an 8-minute walk to the heart of downtown Bend and 2 minutes to the river’s edge and neighboring park. The condo features a fireplace, air conditioning, and two patios; one with a new BBQ for home cooked meals! Free Wifi and parking are included.
The Space:
This ground-floor unit is a breath of fresh air. Simple yet elegant, this stunning condominium comfortably sleeps 4 and is fully ADA compliant. Whether you are here for vacation, work, or otherwise, you will feel the calm and peaceful vibes immediately wash over as you step through the doorway.
Complete with a well-equipped kitchenette with a small oven, and full stovetop, the unit will fill all your stomach’s needs when hungry or refueling after a Central Oregon adventure! You’ll have the option to sit at the dining room table, or kick back and relax on the comfortable couch with the gas fireplace on and enjoy a game on the flatscreen, or soak in the view of the HOA-maintained yard and the neighboring Pioneer Park. Even better: try out your grill skills on the patio that’s right out the sliding glass doors in the living room and soak up the sunshine!
Just through the kitchen you’ll find the private master bedroom, complete with its own bathroom. The queen bed is brand new, and perfect for catching some Z’s between action-packed days. You can watch TV from the bed or walk out the glass doors to the (second!) patio and have some background noise while sipping on some morning coffee. The bathroom connected to the bedroom is fully ADA compliant, with a walk-in shower and heated ceiling lamp. The entryway hosts a full bathroom as well, but the one in the hallway has a tub, offering you the best of both worlds!
As if this place didn’t already give you immediate vacation energy, the location is unrivaled! Downtown is a 15 minute walk, so you can easily experience all that Bend’s downtown area has to offer from breweries to five-star restaurants lining the streets. In an even shorter amount of time (at most, a 2 minute walk) you can immerse yourself in nature as you stroll along the Deschutes river trail. If you were planning on hitting the ski slopes on Mt. Bachelor, or the biking trails that replace the ski runs in the summertime, it’s a 30 minute trip door-to-lift.
We are certain that as soon as you enter this condo, the ease of vacation vibes will “Change Your Altitude” and enhance whatever brought you here to the incredible high desert!

Great setting in the complex, easy walk down to the river. This is the ground floor, so can hear above walking around occasionally. There is a pool in the complex, but not for this unit/section of the buildings. TV in both living and bedroom-both Roku with some local channels in bedroom/not living room. Two baths with one you can roll in the shower a wheelchair, other with tub. Good amount of kitchen supplies and BBQ, but we ended up going out to eat each day.

Exceptionally clean. TWO bathrooms! Full Kitchen. Very nice place to stay. Right next to public park on Deschutes River walk. If you're going to Bend...this is the right choice.

Nice decor. Heat and fireplace didn’t work. Room clean except for floors which were in need of a thorough mopping. The bottoms of our socks turned black from walking on them. Morning stretches on the rug left dust, lint and hair on our clothes. Living room throws were dirty, gritty so didn’t use those.
Building is shoddily built so it’s noisy with a built in alarm clock when upstairs occupants shower and dress. Sounds like a waterfall in the bedroom wall.
Otherwise clean and comfortable.
We won’t stay here again as dirty floors and throws were quite off putting, bedroom 63 degrees in the morning with early noise from upstairs.
