Summary:
Here at “Otter Sight”, you will be a few steps away from the water and feel completely immersed in nature with a gorgeous view of the Deschutes River. You’ll have room for up to 4 on the queen bed, and the twin trundle beds. There’s a perfectly equipped kitchenette, a full bathroom, and tinted windows for privacy. Bring along 2 pets for an additional fee! At this time A/C in the living area is unavailable, however there is a portable heater and fan in the unit for guest use!
The Space:
Welcome to Bend Riverside Unit 259, which we've nicknamed "Otter Sight." The name says it all. As you walk into this quaint riverfront cottage you immediately see an incredible view of the Deschutes River that's otter this world. You couldn't get any closer to the river without getting wet.
Otter Sight sleeps four with a queen bed and a trundle bed that converts into two twins. It has a kitchenette with a microwave, mini-fridge, and stovetop. Cookware and dishes are provided. There's one full bathroom with a shower and tub. Flooring has been upgraded to hardwood-like laminate flooring.
The large riverfront window is tinted for privacy. Outside the window is a man-made spillway that creates a beautiful water feature. Two sections of the window open with a screen so you let in the sound of the rushing river. At this time A/C in the living area is unavailable, however there is a portable heater and fan in the unit for guest use!
Feel free to bring along up to 2 pets, as this unit welcomes animals, and make the most of access to the indoor heated pool from 9:00 AM-10:00 PM daily!
Guest Access:
The cottage comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There is a laundry room on the property, which is open from 9am-10pm daily, same goes as the pool.

Getting Around:
You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance.
Other Things to Note:
This is a cottage in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.
This cottage is pet-friendly. There will be an additional pet fee of $69, limit of 2 pets for this unit.
The cottage comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Bend Riverside Rentals manages more than 40 privately owned riverfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

The room was clean and in a great location, we loved the view of the water right outside the window. The park trails are right outside your room and very close to downtown. It's great that the room is dog friendly but be aware dogs are not allowed to be left in the room. The only downsides were the mattress on the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the TV is very old, the screen is dark and full of static.

Great Location. Room was too small for a 10 day stay. Would recommend a weekend stay only. No sink stopper in kitchen sink that worked. Need to buy a new one.Missing top sheet on bed. Was replaced after our first night. Unit could have been cleaner. I’m very fussy, so could only be my problem.Very close to walking/ bike path & also close to downtown, an easy walk.

Amazing and relaxing stay! We enjoyed all Bend, OR had to offer. Such a great location close to downtown! The parks nearby can be very busy however, but I didn’t mind. State parks are about 20-30 minutes away, not bad if you’re looking to explore nature! I would say the cleanliness of the place when i arrived was pretty underwhelming. Some dishes had stains, there was pet hair on mattress and pillows, and the ministove had splatter stains. Other than that, such a beautiful location. Definetly recommend,

This place is incredible with a great view. The air was NOT working . I text manager and she responded 12 hours later, unacceptable. She had no clue if it was central or window! Never fixed!
