Good house for groups with lovely communal spaces and garden. Drying room and bike storage appreciated. Well equipped with appliances. Super easy check-in.

This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location. We were attending a wedding in Mar Lodge so stayed for three nights, sadly not long enough! Our only disappointment was there didn’t seem to be a piano as shown in the pictures. But apart from that we loved it!

A lovely house with lots of space for 7 adults and a teenager. Good facilities for dining and a great space for leaving wet/muddy gear inside the back door, along with a handy utility room. Beautiful, large garden with great views. Good walks from the door, including 10mins down to the river which has good swimming spots. Quiet location but only 5mins walk into Braemar which is a lovely town with great eating places, especially recommend The Bothy and Farquarsons for food.

We had a truly marvelous week. The house and cottage were perfect for us and we simply could not have been a happier group leaving at the end of our stay in such a beautiful place. We loved the artwork in your house, the area to sit out at the front, the gate onto the moor at the back and so much more - the new shower - the lovely window seats - many were inspired to come back sometime.

"Layout and size of the home was very good. Amenities were good, the entry from the drive was spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms. Front garden was pleasant to sit out in. The view from behind ..."
