Morrone Cottage - Beautiful mountain cottage, large garden and wonderful views.

The cottage was in a perfect location, just outside Braemar but close enough to walk. Well provisioned kitchen and very comfortable lounge area. Very quiet and private.

Nice cottage, good location, enjoyed our stay (2 adults). Fairly basic kitchen equipment (minimal mugs, glasses and crockery) and would have been very cosy for 4 people. Very hot towel rail right next to loo (which we couldn't switch off) and hot water was excessively hot. Parking on-site limited and relies on co-operation with occupants of adjacent house (car park 100m up the road with lots of space though).

Rustic loft cottage was a good location for our stay in Braemar.

We have spent a week at “Morrone Cottage” with our two kids. The highlights of this cottage are definitely the large garden and the location, which allowed for a really lovely view and for starting excursions straightaway. When we arrived we were a bit surprised of the standard, the rooms, the beds and the extra fee for the power, because we had only seen the pictures and information of the “Morrone”-House at the website prior to booking (an experience we seem to share with other guests, judging by a previous review), which apparently really is of a high standard. However, after booking Anna has sent us a few files by email which we just haven´t read thoroughly enough, so we could have known – our fault. All in all we have spent a lovely time at Braemar and do not regret having stayed there.
