8 building Apartment 403 T2 - River & Garden View

A acomodação é muito agradável, limpa e extremamente bem localizada. Ficava a apenas 3 minutos do nosso local de trabalho e próxima de tudo, com muitos restaurantes e bares nas redondezas.

O facto de o apartamento disponibilizar apenas uma chave para dois hóspedes revela-se impraticável a todos os níveis. Esta limitação impede totalmente a autonomia entre os ocupantes. Sempre que um hóspede precisa de sair, o outro é obrigado a acompanhá-lo para permitir o uso do elevador. Da mesma forma, se um chegar antes do outro, fica impossibilitado de aceder ao edifício e ao apartamento. Entrámos em contacto com a gestão do espaço para tentar resolver a situação, no entanto, não foi demonstrado qualquer esforço eficaz nesse sentido, o que agravou ainda mais a experiência. A esta situação acresce ainda o facto de terem sido disponibilizados apenas três rolos de papel higiénico para dois hóspedes durante uma estadia de nove dias, quantidade claramente insuficiente. Trata-se de falhas significativas que nos causaram vários constrangimentos durante a estadia. Esperamos sinceramente que considerem estas questões e implementem melhorias no futuro.

The apartment is impressively spacious and situated in one of the best locations in Lisbon, overlooking the Praça Dom Luis 1 with spectacular views of the river and literally a stone’s throw from the Time Out Market. The kitchen area was basic but had everything you might want if you’re going to eat out most of the time. Bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage, and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower.

There were a few things that were disappointing, given how impressive the apartment seemed at first. The pillows on my bed smelled of sweat and I had to swap them with some extras from the other room. I suspect the mattress itself was quite old, although it was comfortable enough. Each room has a large air conditioner that worked well, but it is impossible to operate them independently. So if the people you are sharing the apartment with disagree with you about what temperature you want, for instance at night, there is no way to make it different in different rooms - which seems really dumb, given how much expense has evidently gone into the ac system. Anyway, I didn’t sleep well throughout my stay as a result, which has made me rather grumpy about it, although it was otherwise genuinely brilliant to be able to walk straight out into the buzzing centre of the city.

Location is very central and easy to walk and explore. The apartment itself is big and beautiful however furniture were warn old and no love giving to the place.

It is definitely not clean, we asked for cleaning products which we received immediately to clean ourselves. No love for details! Pillows very old and uncomfortable
