Villa Sol Menorca by Escape Home

The pool was fantastic with loads of different outdoor sitting areas. We enjoyed the outdoor shower too. The location was excellent too, only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We had everything we needed for an amazing holiday.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Spacious villa, huge pool and very peaceful and private. Comfortable beds, home from home feel. Nice addition of the table tennis and BBQ for use. Ample space to park on road. Smart TV with Netflix and Prime (own log in)

Nothing to dislike

Great outdoor space where you have the sun all day. Nice little touches like a welcome pack with tea etc and a bottle of water in the fridge. Also a full bottle of washing up liquid, a couple of dishwasher tablets and cleaning cloths.

The only little problem was that we found baked on seagull pooh on the corner of one of the sun beds which had been missed by the cleaners.

The pool area, the outdoors shower (we all loved it), the utilities in the kitchen (you could find everything you might need), the dishwasher, the silent, the books, games, beach umbrellas, many nice details), the state of the flat when we arrived, was super clean. Near the beach but far if you have a 2 years old kid since it was up the hill to return home at 40 degrees, better to take the car since there’s a public car park in front of the beach.

Kitchen was super small, no aircon in the living room, just in the rooms but with doors shut, otherwise the power of the arcoin gets cut, so if your kid is sleeping next door you have to decide wether to dye in the heat or to isolate in each room. With a heatwave hitting, at some point was unbearable with a 2 years old kid. Shame that having aircon you were not able to leave the room door open so at least could breath in the living room. Also real problem with ants in the kitchen.
