Samay Hostel

Quiet but social, very big, confortable beds, lovely staff. Really enjoyed chilling on the rooftop. It’s a short walk to the center of Juayúa.

The light and shared spaces, views from the terrace and epic sunrise. Such friendly and accommodating staff. There’s a street food festival every weekend. The tours operated from the hostel were great, Antony was super knowledgeable.

We loved Samay Hostel!! Everything was so perfect and it felt very relaxing staying here. It had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable. Loved sitting watching the volcanoes in the morning from the balcony.

Really cool town, everything is convenient and affordable. Other cool towns close by. Weekend food festival is great. Lots for food vendors. Upstairs balcony is amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Locals all cool. There’s a great place for food and drinks at a little place a couple hundred yards away from the hostel called Chiapas bar restaurant, you have to ring a door bell to get let in. You can set up the waterfall hike through the hostal. All the people the hostal attracts are really friendly.
