Spacious room and private bathroom. Amenities were great including common kitchen, outdoor space/garden, swimming pool and laundry. Highly recommend.

The stay was, in many aspects, very pleasant. The place is comfortable, the atmosphere is calm, and overall it could easily deserve a much higher rating.

However, I unfortunately had a very serious issue during my stay: a significant amount of money (around 1200 USD and 3000 AED, in addition to money belonging to my wife) disappeared from my wallet inside the hostel. There were no signs of external access, and only staff had access to the room. I want to highlight that management was responsive, took the situation seriously, and handled communication in a respectful and professional way. This is the main reason I am not rating the place lower. That said, the incident itself was very concerning and had a strong impact on my overall experience. I was traveling after leaving a conflict situation and recovering from a surgery, so feeling safe was especially important to me. Unfortunately, this situation left me with a very negative and vulnerable feeling, which outweighs the otherwise positive aspects of the stay. I also hope this situation encourages the management team to improve internal controls, including having properly functioning security cameras, to prevent similar incidents in the future.
