    I never expected such a perfect hotel! The family room is spacious enough and spotlessly clean. It even comes with a kitchen fully equipped with cutlery. The location is great — close to a supermarket and 7-Eleven. Although it’s a bit far from the train station, there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel. In Kyoto, taking the bus is definitely the best way to get around!

    The location isn’t good, 20 min from the closest train station, far from central Kyoto, no places for a sight-seeing nearby, and no traditional Japanese restaurants nearby. The room itself is new and clean, the mattress is hard but the towels felt thick and soft. Wish we got a free bottle of water each in our room. The receptionist was a bit awkward and didn’t give us a warm welcome. Check-out was very easy.
