Ms Dao and her husband Mr. Wut took excellent care of our stay and made us feel staying at home. They were extremely responsive to our requests and served excellently on our needs. First they organized our pick-up from Bangkok airport and transport to the guest house. Flawless service provided by our driver Mr. Kung. After arriving at the guesthouse we were upgraded from a room to a small appartment with all facilities. All new, beautifully decorated and in excellent conditions (Wifi & AC working perfectly). Each day started with a large most delicious breakfast prepared with a lot of attention to our preferences. Mr. Wut accompagnied us on our first trip to the Khao Yai National Park which helped with orientation. We went to the NP for two days and thereafter we decided to spend one day close to the guest house as nature there was also providing lots of opportunities to encounter what we were looking for: Birds. There are alot of species around even in the garden of the guest house. We got a lot of great bird shots. Observing our activities, Mr. Wut started to become interested in birds and developped excellent spotter skills. We spend an excellent day and had good fun searching for birds!

The guest house is located about 30-45 min drive away from the Khao Yai National Park (don´t rely on the booking.com location map). All visitors of the NP have to take this into account. So in case you want to be early in the NP, you have to consider adding the travel time into your time planning. There are hotels closer to the park entrance, but as the visitor center, which is the starting point of most excursions, is about 11 km from the park entrance gate, you will anyway need a car for reaching it. You also need a car to get to the restaurants.
