The 39 m² two-room apartment, wiak1-09, is located in the Upstalsboom Vacation Apartments at Krusespeicher and can accommodate up to 3 people. This modern apartment features free Wi-Fi and heated floors.
The Location
This high-quality corner apartment with a view of the harbor is located on the northwest side of the building on the first floor. Wismar’s Old Harbor, one of the Hanseatic city’s most attractive spots, lies right at your feet. From here, you can easily explore the city and its beautiful surroundings. Incidentally, the Old Harbor is also a very popular venue for events and festivals.
Wismar’s historic old town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant array of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and day-trip destinations. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbor Days—attract over 500.000 visitors annually. The island of Poel is perfect for long walks on the beach. Here, you can stroll along the coast for hours in any weather and let the wind blow through your hair.
The Amenities
This bright and modern non-smoking apartment features underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, a stove with two glass-ceramic burners and an oven, a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and hand blender. The separate bedroom features a comfortable double box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a 40-inch flat-screen TV. The combined living and dining area features a 40-inch flat-screen TV, a stereo system, and a single sleeper sofa (1.20 x 1.95 m). The apartment includes a safe large enough for a laptop up to approximately 17 inches. The modern bathroom features a walk-in rain shower, a sink, a toilet, a towel warmer, and a hair dryer.
Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment and pets are welcome. A crib can be set up in the living area for a fee.

Our team warmly welcomes you at the front desk in the neighboring Upstalsboom Krusespeicher. The Krusespeicher features a sauna area that is available free of charge to guests of the vacation apartments. The area spans two levels and includes two Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, and a relaxation room.
A public parking lot and a public parking garage (both for a fee) are located in the immediate vicinity. A washing machine and dryer are available in the apartment complex. A clothes drying rack is provided in your apartment. Lockable bicycle storage is available.
In addition, a bread roll service is available for a fee—simply order at the front desk and pick it up the next morning in the Living Room of the Krusespeicher. There you’ll also find vending machines for specialty coffees, breakfast items, and snacks.
The linens package per person per stay is included for you! It includes one hand towel, one bath towel, bed linens, and one shower mat per bathroom. Upon request, our on-site team will also be happy to provide additional sets of bed linens and hand towels for a fee.

This former grain silo, which houses 41 additional apartments, features a shared reception area and a sauna area that you can use free of charge. You’ll also find a lockable storage room for bicycles at the Krusespeicher, where they can be safely stored.

Ich kann zur Ausstattung sagen, dass sie modern und neuwertig ist. Es gibt leider immer ein aber, für mich persönlich wäre es schön gewesen, wenn es zwei Matratzenstärken gegeben hätte, somit gab es nur die harte Variante 3 für Männer geeignet. Härtegrad 2 wäre eher für mich als Frau geeignet. Außerdem ist dieses Appartement nicht gut für körperlich eingeschränkte Personen geeignet, hier bezugnehmend auf die Essecke mit Hochstühlen. Die Bewegungsfreiheit im Schlafzimmer ist auch etwas eingeschränkt. Das Badezimmer ist großzügig mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Ich möchte sagen, dass dieses Haus leider nicht ganz barrierefrei konzipiert worden ist. Hier wurden leider nicht alle Möglichkeiten bei der Planung ausgeschöpft.
Die Sauberkeit war auf den ersten Blick einwandfrei.
Die Gästebetreuung war freundlich kurz und knapp an der Rezeption bei Ankunft.
P.S. Mir fehlte eine Willkommensmappe mit wichtigen Informationen zum Urlaubsort (Straßenkarte), Sehenswürdigkeiten, Ärztenotdienst usw.
Wir haben im Parkhaus ein Ticket für mehrere Tage gezogen, pro Tag vielen 10 € an. Alternativ kann man auch günstiger vorm Parkhaus stehen.
Die 4 Sterne gebe ich, weil es immer was zu verbessern gibt.
Trotz Corona hatten wir einen für uns schönen Urlaub!
