The Schilling Beach House, located in secluded Arch Cape, offers the ultimate in luxury and comfort with the most stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the 180 degree view of the stunning coast from the living room, dining room and spacious outdoor deck from this one-story home with private beach access. Every evening brings spectacular sunsets no matter the season!
This hidden treasure offers five-star views of the coast's most spectacular natural shows—from shimmering sunsets to the occasional pod of whales! Schilling Beach House is a spacious, four-bedroom home with two bathrooms with direct access to the beach. This house is perfect for a large group, or just for 2 people. And, Schilling House welcomes your pet.
A large wall of windows along the entire west side of this home allows for incredible, panoramic ocean views. Sit back and relax watching the waves roll in from the living room and dining area, kitchen, as well as the primary bedroom.
The living room includes a beautiful stone fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating and has access to a large oceanside deck for enjoying those beautiful sunsets! The fully stocked kitchen provides all the amenities you will need to prepare gourmet meals, all while enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean. A sunporch, just off the kitchen, is a great place to store sandy shoes and toys after a day of play on the beach!
The dining area has a large table that seats ten, as well as additional bar stools at the breakfast bar that can seat four more.
The primary bedroom boasts ocean views, a king bed, 32” flat screen tv and ensuite bathroom with a new walk-in shower. Two additional guest bedrooms each have queen beds, as well as a third bedroom that has one twin bunk bed set and a pyramid bunk bed with a twin on top and a full on the bottom. These three bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo.
The outdoor deck is the perfect spot perfect for outdoor dining, enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine. The location allows you to get the full experience of Arch Cape, with Cannon Beach only 4 miles away; it's quite simply the best of both worlds.
You are welcome to bring your dog buddy with you! Please know there's a $25.00 plus tax per dog per day fee.

Loved the big chairs to relax and look out at the great view. Direct access to the beach. Nice and thoughtful decor. They have an extensive shell collection so if you have toddlers as we did, you will need to triage at arrival to protect the collections. We had a wonderful time and would return in the future.

We had an amazing stay! Best views we have ever had. There was a whale right outside the house for hours!! The house was very clean, and everything worked great. Thank you so much- can’t wait to go back!

We stayed here in mid-July. The location is great; the house is okay. Parts of the house have been more recently updated than others, and the older parts are a little dingy, but well maintained.
Our real disappointment is with the management company. My parents arrived at the check-in time and the house had not been cleaned. The cleaners arrived shortly after my parents did. I called the management company and was told, "there's nothing we can do about it". I asked the woman who I spoke with to escalate my concern, and shortly received a phone call from the office manager, who was sincerely apologetic and said she would refund our cleaning fee. I thought that was an acceptable response and thanked her for her attention to the matter. However, a week later, the refund still hadn't showed up. I reached out and asked when I could expect it - turns out it was never processed! They processed it then.
While we enjoyed the house, I am only hesitant to book again because of the problems with the management company.
