Less than a 10-minute walk from Südstrand (the world’s largest sandbox), the hosts have created an oasis of well-being in the midst of the wonderful North Sea dune landscape, reflecting their life in St. Peter-Ording—between beach sailing, the marina, and the sea. From the carport (with an electric charging station 100 meters away in a public parking lot) through the small, cozy front yard—which also serves as a natural privacy screen—you’re immediately greeted upon arrival by the invigorating sea air and the peaceful atmosphere. Upon entering the sustainably furnished house, you first arrive in the spacious entryway, which features a guest restroom and the staircase leading to the first floor. To the right is a cozy bedroom with a double bed, adjacent to a newly designed small bathroom with a shower. Next to it is the entrance to the bright kitchen, featuring open shelving and new, modern appliances. This makes it an excellent self-catering option for your vacation—even for large families and groups of friends. Directly adjacent to the kitchen is the utility room (for wet beach clothes, for example), complete with a washer and dryer. The first floor also features a large, bright living/dining area perfect for social gatherings (with a fireplace)—inspired by the ever-hospitable beach sailors, who always round off their shared sporting activities with a snack and good drinks. On this floor, details such as the thoughtful decor, the beautiful handcrafted wooden staircase, and the carefully selected color scheme particularly catch the eye, radiating warmth and coziness. The back wall of the house is made entirely of glass, guaranteeing a sun-drenched stay and a magnificent view of the vast dune landscape (nature reserve) behind the house. Once you’ve climbed the handcrafted wooden staircase to the first floor, you’ll find an oasis of comfort with a cozy couch and TV area, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a cozy evening. Adjacent to this is another bedroom—with an unobstructed view of the nature reserve behind the house—and a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Another highlight on this floor is the open workspace. Here, with a view of the vast North Sea landscape, you can work in complete tranquility or simply let your mind wander. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, new ideas, a chance to slow down, or a creative outlet—this is arguably the best workplace in the world :) Like the living room, the other common areas are equipped with a Smart TV and a Sonos sound system; on the first floor, there are also two additional sleeping spots in the form of a large sleeper sofa. Behind the house is a furnished terrace with an awning and a beach chair, as well as a large garden area bordering the dunes. A parking space is available in front of the house, and 3 bicycles are provided free of charge. A gas grill (€50.00 deposit) and a fire pit are also included.
