The 4-star "Hooge 2" duplex apartment is a spacious and tastefully furnished vacation rental that spans two floors and is accessed via a separate entrance on the upper level of the building. The apartment has a floor area of approximately 85 m² and thus offers ample space for up to 4 people. The two balconies—one facing south and the other facing west—are the highlight of the apartment. On the south-facing balcony, you can enjoy the sun, and on the covered west-facing balcony in the gable wall, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of the stilt houses on the beach and spectacular sunsets. The space on the upstairs gallery is a hidden gem for those seeking tranquility.
In the living room, you’ll find a cozy corner sofa set, a wingback chair with a footstool, and a large TV with a DVD and CD player. The dining table offers plenty of space for social evenings, and the modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking and baking. Oven with broiler, microwave, toaster, egg cooker, coffee maker, and an additional coffee pod machine, food processor, hand blender, extra-quiet dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and, of course, well-maintained dishes—this place leaves nothing to be desired.
Even during the cooler months, you’ll feel completely at home in this apartment. The high-quality tiled floor is heated, as is the modern bathroom, which features a double sink, a shelf for your toiletries, a toilet, and a shower stall. A hair dryer is provided. Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable double beds (2 x 90 x 200 cm), naturally equipped with orthopedic mattresses and washable duvets. One bedroom is located on the living level; the second is accessible via the loft on the upper floor. This floor also comfortably accommodates another separate toilet with a sink. A large floor-to-ceiling window in the east-facing sleeping area lets in the first rays of sunlight. The view stretching far across the marsh meadows is particularly impressive. During the winter months, you can marvel at thousands of geese from here as they land on the meadows to forage for food. An additional large flat-screen TV in the upper bedroom—Wi-Fi-enabled and controllable via your cell phone—ensures there’s never a dull moment.
The apartment also features a small storage room accessible from the entryway. Cleaning supplies are neatly stowed here, and there’s plenty of space for your shoes as well. All windows and patio doors are equipped with high-quality insect screens. For hygiene reasons, pets of any kind are not permitted, nor is smoking inside the apartment. The minimum rental period during peak season is 7 nights.

This balcony is accessible directly from the living-dining area. A second balcony, accessible via the loft, offers a view all the way to the stilt houses on the beach.
In the basement, there is a shared washer and dryer, which can be used for a fee.
One parking space is available for each apartment in front of the house.
