Had a long weekend mostly staying in. Took a long run along the lakefront and connected to path to Waterloo. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this house, an older home in a quiet neighborhood, for 4 weeks. The property had plenty of room and the kitchen was fairly well stocked for cooking and eating-in.
Pros: within walking distance of town, Monaco's coffee shop, and the beautiful lakefront park (15 min); clean inside, good towels, pleasant owner and property manager.
Cons: The outside of the property could use some attention (paint and window cleaning) but the grass was kept mowed. It would be helpful to have more storage for clothes and a luggage rack or two. A few more lamps and light blankets would be helpful as well.
Although we had some trouble with the TV during our stay, the owner and property manager were helpful and replaced it.
Overall, it was a good stay and we would consider staying there again.

The check in/out and communication was great. Very quick replies. The kitchen was well stocked with new dishes, glasses, etc. Updated kitchen worked well. The beds were comfortable with memory foam mattresses. While the sheets and towels were fresh and clean, the overall feeling in the house was dirty. Mainly the floors. I'm not sure if this was a function of being a pet friendly property, which we appreciated. The grass was about a foot tall which made it hard to use the lawn. The property manager did respond regarding that saying it had rained a lot recently and would be mowed the following week. It may just be a function of the cleaning service used between guests. We enjoyed the location - walkable to town and HWS. We were there for graduation weekend.
