mountains. Easy drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and the Sevierville Convention Center. Fall foliage peaks in October — the National Park, Cades Cove, and Newfound Gap Road offer some of the best color in the eastern U.S., all within about 20 miles.
LEAF SEASON IN THE SMOKIES
October is the Smokies at their showiest — leaf season fills the national park, the alpine coasters run through falling color, and evenings turn cool enough that the hot tub and patio fireplace become the after-dinner spot. It's our most-requested month; weekends go first.

The location was great, at the peak of the division, and fairly secluded from the neighbors. The patio outside on the main level faces near east so watching the sunrise among the mountain view was nice. The cabin offers an open concept on the main level surrounded by full view glass when the curtains are open bringing the outside views inside. Furnishing a large kitchen and nice family room, with dining tables both inside and outside made family game time and dinners a memorable experience. All bedrooms have their own full bathroom. The game room downstairs leading out to the lower patio area was nice, the pool table and equipment are in good shape, the furniture outside was clean and taken care of. The hot tub was clean and worked as it should. Communication with the host was good, we would definitely stay here again hands down.

We loved the cabin. Only problem we had a wheelchair bound member and it was not very accessible for her. My suggestion would be to add concrete path around the outside perimeter to accommodate wheelchair accessibility to bottom floor.
