Apartment 4p Méribel plateau - Near the slopes

We rented this apartment believing that it was 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is actually a separate studio on the floor above the main apartment, unfortunately this was not made clear in the listing. The two bed main apartment consists of a decent sized double bedroom and a bunk room. The bunk room is so small that the beds are not full sized singles and there is virtually no storage meaning that our children’s possessions spent most of the week cascaded over the floor of the apartment. The apartment is pretty soulless - clearly done up as a rental on a minimal budget. There is just about enough seating for 4 of an evening, but only if you don’t all mind being squashed on a sofa. I marked down the cleanliness rating because some of the cutlery wasn’t clean, one of the pillows had old blood stains on it and the edge of the floors near the skirting board were pretty grubby in places. The studio above is functional, but a bit noisy as it faces out onto the street and is right by the lift motor. The main selling point of the apartment is the location, which is good, a 50-100 metre walk to the slopes and even closer to a little supermarket, ski hire and a restaurant.
