great location, only about 15 minutes on foot from shirawkago main touristy locations. very clean and hosts were lovely

The stay was great with clean rooms and bathrooms. The facilities to have food like cup noodles, beer and other beverages were really helpful knowing everything closes in Shirakawago by evening. The host was really helpful and helped get our luggage to our rooms a floor above. The common room was great to chill with other guests.
The location is a little away from the main village and bus stop but still not too far if you don't have too much luggage or if its too sunny.
Bathrooms were shared and on the ground floor but that was fine overall considering other positive things.

Great location, close to the shuttle bus stop with easy access to the main station.
The host was very kind and supportive, we even played board games together with other guests at night, which made for a really cozy experience. I would recommend staying 2-3 more nights if you enjoy a peaceful nature vibe.

It was comfortable and the staff member was nice.
Too far a walk to the main attractions, no toilet and the bathroom was very basic. It was also a bit hard to find.
