Very friendly staff, clean, and comfortable beds. Common area is spacious and it's setup in a way that facilitiates conversation. Beautiful mountain views from the front porch. Hosts do a couple of driving trips to the bus station every day.
Small things: It's a long walk from the bus station and from the tourist Shirakawa-go area, keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage. There is no clothes washing facility either in the hostel or nearby. There are very few restaurants that are open on any given day and on convenience store about a 10 minute walk away.

Good vibes , nice place, available with on-site parking from bicycle to motorbike and cars. Ken was very helpful, we shared some laughs.

thanks to Mr shinya san for making our trip worth..he welcomed us politely .we worried worried because it was our first time in shirakawa but because of him we were able to make some wonderful memories and he also even guided us so beautiful places .extremely grateful.if we come back again we will definitely meet shinya san.thanks a lot

It was comfortable and the staff member was nice.
Too far a walk to the main attractions, no toilet and the bathroom was very basic. It was also a bit hard to find.
