About this apartment rental
Welcome to 'Rosemary Retreat'! This newly remodeled studio is located at The Village of South Walton which is situated between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach on 30A. It is the perfect location for a vacation getaway! The complex has two pools (one is heated during cold season, and the other is a zero entry pool), a hot tub and a complimentary tram to take you to the private deeded beach access.
The condo itself, 'Rosemary Retreat', sleeps 4 and has everything you will need for your stay! When entering the unit you will find a small kitchenette to your right and the bathroom to the left. Although there is not a full kitchen there is a large refrigerator and microwave, as well as select dishes for use during your stay! The condo has a king bed as well as a sleeper sofa to comfortably accommodate small families. Upon booking you will receive a very helpful welcome packet that tells you everything you need to know about the complex, the unit, and area!
The complex has complimentary parking (you can park up to 2 vehicles during your stay). There are several restaurants and shops located either in the complex or within a short walk (Starbucks!). There is also a large bike rental shop located in the horseshoe on the complex! We encourage you to explore 30A via bikes to see all what it has to offer or simply grab your towels and chairs, hop on the beach tram and head to the beach! There are so many things to do nearby - you may not know where to start! Whether venturing to the sugar white sands and sparkling blue water of the Gulf of Mexico, or taking a day to sight see, you will truly enjoy everything this area has to offer!

The room was nice. Comfy bed. Clean. Nice for a couple. The property manager was excellent to work with. Being above restaurants and coffee shops was fun and convenient—and so was being in walking distance to Rosemary. You could slightly hear musicians playing outside in the room - but they and the restaurants closed around 10 pm - so no issues. I couldn’t get the tv to work properly - but could be user error. Heads-up - parking was a challenge around 5-7 pm during the peak of the restaurant activity. Also, the tram to the beach was nice. But, be sure to reserve a chairs/umbrella very early or beach locations are limited. Chair service takes up 3/4 the available beach - as neighboring private beaches are marked off and vigilantly guarded. So the 1/4 of available beach is cramped with people unable to reserve the occupied paid chairs. We ended up driving to a public beach where we had room. Just giving an heads-up so others can be prepared and plan accordingly. Overall, my wife and I had a fun long weekend.

The place was amazing, it was a 3-night stay. The bed was delicious, I slept like a baby. The cleaning of 10. All appliances in good condition and the chairs and beach umbrella are a plus. Access to the beach is easy although I didn't particularly like that the area is very small and it is difficult to enter the place.

Super cute place. It’s small, like a hotel room. Was expecting it to be larger. Wish it had black out drapes. When on vacation, I enjoy sleeping in and it was hard to do with the sun in your eyes at 6am.
If you’re looking for a place close to shops, restaurants, and live music at night. This is a great place.
