Mook Happy Bungalow

Läget på ön 5min att gå till bästa beachen. Bungalowens läge uppe på en kulle i trädgården. Träd runt omkring och hade man tur en flock med hornbills. Frukosten, yogurt m müsli, toast, frukt. Hjälpsam och trevlig värdinna+familj. En bit till 'centrum' så vi hyrde motorbike.

Smutsiga frukostbord. Endast 2 städning på 7nätter. Skräpig och stökig front vid frukosten, ser allt annat än välkomnande ut. Stället har potential men kräver mer omtanke. I våra ögon. Det var även en barnfamilj där fast det stod barnfritt..

Great location, right next to the beach. Nice setting surrounded by jungle. Chill vibe.

Quite expensive for what it was, but I think its because of the shortage of accommodation in the island. Somewhere else it would cost half of what they asked. The worst part was the cleanliness or rather the lack of it. After checking in we realized that the bedsheets were not changed between bookings. They were dirty and full of body hair. When I asked the receptionist she apologized and said the would change them tomorrow during the room cleaning. I said I am not sleeping in a dirty bed and asked for clean bedsheets to make the bed myself. While changing the pillowcase I noticed that the pillows are almost black from dirt and possibly mold. It took 4 days for them to clean my room after I repeatedly asked for it and placed the given sign on the door. I did buy cleaning supplies and did it myself as well. Note to future guests, - There is a lot of dust due to the dirt road that leads to the most visited beach on the island which passed right in front of the bungalows. - No hot water - No ac and between 12.00 and 18.00 the bungalow gets almost unbearable. But you should be at the beach during these hours I would have been ok with the situation if I had paid less than half of what it costed. As a host my self i know the price must reflect the given services. With more attention to details and a step up in cleanliness it can be the perfect accommodation for a tropical island paradise. I wish they get to work!
