Durbanville Pool House

Friendly, accommodating staff, quiet and comfortable stay. Really liked the bed, the bath and the ability to watch netflix/youtube etc.

I was expecting self-catering, which it isn’t really. There’s a microwave, kettle and fridge, but no stove, plates, or cutlery. We needed to get quite creative since we had only planned on dining out once during the trip. We made it work, but I had anticipated a bit more in terms of self-catering.

Excellent Location - close to shopping centers and freeway to Cape Town and the Winelands Quiet neighborhood Spaciousness Host friendliness Cleanliness

Everything great

Can't think of anything

The bed was soft and comfy

Firstly, I stayed in a room away from the pool because I wanted a room with a bath, I had trouble with the safety gate so I couldn't move in and out of my room freely after struggling with the gate I just gave up and stayed in my room, the water pressure in the bathroom is week I went from taking a shower to taking a bath because I was getting cold while I was in the shower because the water was coming out slow and not hot as I would like it and I didn't even open the cold water. I had no utensils to eat with when I got food delivered, I had no sugar in my room to make a cup of coffee. I feel so ripped off. I used my hard earned money to have a decent time away and this place didn't do the pictures justice, the toilet pot was cracked on the inside, the microwave and kettle are inside the wardrobe.
