Lovely place to stay, very cosy and not too far from the event I had to attend

Maisonnette agréable, bien placée au calme à deux pas de la Tamise, des transports en commun (bus / métro / uberboat). Stationnement facile. Quartier résidentiel.

Cela manquait de couverts et de verres pour 6 personnes. Cela manquait également d’accessoires de cuisine comme une passoire à pattes, un plat pour le four, un tire-bouchon et les feux de gazinière ne fonctionnait pas très bien.

Pour avoir déjà logé dans un autre quartier a 8 aussi, j ai préféré celui ci. Maison très agréable pour nous 8. Proche du métro 1km a pied je pense, metro ou l on trouve tout sur place. Resto, bus dans le quartier. A 2 rues derrière la tamisé donc génial. Les 3 chambres sont grandes et le salon cuisine plus restreint. Nos grands ado ont bien dormi sur le canapé.

Ras de notre côté excepté l usage des 2 douches en même temps

Great customer service. Always responded when I had questions. A lot of space to move around for 3 people. Cozy neighborhood. Within walking distance of local food marts. Walk to underground tube is in decent walking distance (about 12-15min walk) but still a bit of a walk.

Unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros which I have to be completely honest about. But there are a few things that really impacted out stay in a negative way. BAD SMELL There was an awful stale smell that was coming from the room closest to the bathroom downstairs. At first, we didn't realize were the smell was coming from until our last day when I opened the closet in the bedroom. Apparently there were 7-8 damp towels hanging up in the closet that was putting out an awful "mildew" smell. Why would there be damp towels hanging in a closet? Putting wet fabric material in a small enclosed space with poor or no ventilation will produce an unpleasant mildew odor. But because we were leaving the next morning, we didn't bother to complain to the owners. But it's apparent that these towels weren't dried properly. Not even sure if there were clean. LOUD NOISE (Drilling and Hammering) We were all hoping to sleep in a little later the next morning after our arrival and being jetlagged but we were surprisingly awaken at 8am by loud drilling into the walls, hammering and banging that apparently was happening in the flat below us. I'm assuming there is some renovation going on. But this did not make us happy! It was so loud that it seemed as if the drilling was happening right in our place so unfortunately this made our stay VERY unpleasant. Had I known that there would be renovations going on right below us, I would have reserved this place. So this was very disappointing. STAINED AND RIPPED CARPET Carpet was pretty dirty and overly worn out. Ripped patches were exposed on the carpet heading up the stairs which was a sight for sore eyes. LACKED BASIC AMENITIES No face wash cloths were provided. Only towels (that weren't in the best shape). We would have brought our own had we known. But we just assume that wash cloths would be automatically provides. No napkins or paper towel was provided in the kitchen.
