The location was great and it felt very safe

We have a six year old so we went to bed earlier than most and you can hear noises from the other apartments and outside. If you’re a light sleeper I’d plan for that.

Fantastic location but choose an outward facing room.

Fantastic location, just on the edge of the old town. Lovely clean spacious room with a huge wet room.

Our room faced onto the inner courtyard, so we could hear any time someone left the building. It also meant there was limited natural light. Rooms facing outward (with balconies) wouldn’t have this issue. Also the people in the room above us seemed to be scraping furniture on the floor each evening, so I think we were a bit unlucky!

Perfectly located self contained apartment

The location, the apartment itself, the helpfulness of all the team, it was all excellent. Easy the get to all main areas of the historic centre and some excellent local tapas bars. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking again. Immaculately clean, the apartment also had a washing machine which was a useful addition.

Homely Malaga met all our needs-comfortable room, location, washer and dryer, aircon-we absolutely loved our stay here!

We loved the location and our apartment. It is very clean with 1 1/2 bathrooms and it has a washer and dryer. The kitchen has everything in it, though we did not cook while there. The location is within a short walk to restaurant La in old town. There is a cafe downstairs and a pastry/lunch place across the street.

Nothing for us because we don’t have mobility issues. The elevator only goes half way. There is a seat on stairway railing as well.

Excellent apartment where we would want to return to again.

The apartment was modern, clean and quiet. We had a very comfortable 4 night stay. The location is very central to the old town and within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the beach. The cafe inside the building was excellent with really good coffee and food and the service was very attentive. The apartment had everything you needed for a short or long stay.

The hairdryer nossle (concentrator) didn’t fit the hairdryer, only a minor issue but important when you have curly hair,.

Great location and great Space.

The location was in the best part of the city as we could go in many different directions . The city centre was only a five minute walk away and the port/ beach were just fifteen minutes away but didn’t seem like that because there was so much to see. What I also liked was there was no pressure with carrying a key every time you went out, the team give you a code and gets you into the building and then into your room, so easy.

We stayed on the bottom floor and found the lights could have been better as there were no windows lout onto the street.

wonderful apartments

Beautiful apartments, nicely renovated, spotless and in a good location. Friendly hosts and good communication.

Everything was great apart from being woken through the night by a baby screaming, probably a family in the residential flats next door but it was very loud. Obviously not the fault of anyone but I would chose a different apartment next time on the opposite side of the building. (We were in apartment 2.2)

Very comfortable place and quite quiet despite the location. We could rest, as we have children, it is very important for us.

The key to lock the door wasn’t working, so it took a long time to fix the problem, and since it was very late at night, it was quite complicated. However, they were very kind and helped as quickly as they could.

Modern room in a vibrant part of the city with washer & dryer!

This was a nice updated apartment in the old town very close to many restaurants and stores. We were able to walk everywhere and we felt safe as we could only get in with a code. Having the washer and dryer was key as this was our last stop and allowed us to bring most things clean. Nuria was very helpful and coordinated a taxi pick up for 4 am on the day of our departure. She welcomed us and gave us a quick tour of the room. We were able to walk to Malagueta beach within 15-20 min.

I wish the bath products had a more pleasant smell and there was no conditioner. While I appreciated being in the first floor for access with our luggage I wish I wasn’t in the room directly by the courtyard where all the tables and seats are. We could hear everyone talking in the morning early.

All in all we had a lovely stay at Homely Malaga Apts.

Excellent location with walking distance to Malaga's historical center. It's also situated in the quiet side of Malaga so you're somewhat blocked off by late night revelers.

The walls are however thin so you do hear the coming and goings of apt guests, which woke us up from time to time.

We had a ground floor room, plenty of space and the bathroom was a very generous size. Only thinh was we didn’t feel we could open the windiws to let more light or air in as they opened onto the lobby / seating area downstairs.

Spacious for the family, steps away from shops and old town, close to the beach. Clean and witn all needed kitchen gadgets and small "must have" things like olive oil, salt and pepper.

The only thing we missed was a cup for toothbrushes :D imagine now how good these apartments are :D

Great location and lovely apartments for a trip to Malaga!

Booked 3 x apartments for a trip away with friends, all were lovely apartments (especially the Duplex- so much light!). Good location, near restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Also close to walk to the beach. A really lovely place to stay.

Could be useful to have some more cooking supplies such as salt, pepper, olive oil.

Good Location

I really appreciated the possibility to check in at 12 PM — that was amazing. The host is super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The apartment is newly renovated, with everything fresh and brand new.

However, the listing mentioned an inner courtyard view, but in reality, it was a view of a closed building wall with no actual courtyard — there was no airflow, and I had to rely on the AC to ventilate the apartment. On the second day, an unpleasant smell started coming from the AC, and I also found two worms in the kitchen, which was quite unpleasant.

The location was centrally located, although not in the BEST neighborhood. Hosts were responsive when needed, no matter the hour.

The smell, there was a horrible smell in the apartment which we couldn't pinpoint but think was coming from the pipes in the bathroom. We kept the sinks closed and the bathroom doors and it was fine but upon returning to the apartment at night or waking up in the morning when you enter the downstairs bathroom you are hit with this HORRIBLE smell which travels and lingers in the apartment. We opened windows and ran the air conditioner, but it was persistent, and I don't believe it was healthy and may have been due to mold. The bathroom fan does not work. It was similar to the smell of cat pee and moisture - just weird. Running water and flushing the toilets may have made it better, or we just got used to being in there , and the mornings were awful! On coming back from excursions, we were hit with the smell right when coming in the door - very unpleasant! It's hard to watch TV - a tiny sofa and the sitting area does not have a view. You need to watch the spiral staircase when getting up from the table so you don't get a concussion! You only have a single towel and a single pillow per person - we asked for additional towels, but they were never delivered. We also asked for pillow cases for the various additional pillows we found and never received them, even though we offered to pay. So we hugged pillows at night with no pillow cases. I don't think this is sanitary and is the first room we have EVER rented without additional / extra sheets and towels. It really felt like they were penny pinching every detail! Furniture is broken - the cabinet doors in the bedroom and living room were broken and run down. The hair dryer blew during our stay, and it took 2 days to resolve. We got a new one on the last day. There is an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs bathroom but only a single hair dryer and iron for both - generally, there is one provided per bathroom where we have stayed in the past. Parking is hit or miss.

I had a room w/o windows to the street, which made it a little dark (was ok for me, I stayed just for sleeping) but on the positive insulated from any noise from the street. However sounds from other rooms were prominent due to the old building. My neighbors were silent so I was lucky, but might be a consideration for some travelers.

A huge, high-end two storey apartment with a balcony

It was massive, with two floors of high end design. It had a great secluded balcony area. It had a big open plan kitchen and lounge area. It had a spiral staircase up to the room. It had two toilets. And the room alone would be a first class apartment with the beautiful design, leading out to the balcony and en suite bathroom. You would be mad not to snap this up.
