SicilyHub apartament

The communications with the owner were excellent. We used Whatsapp. He wrote in Italian, I replied in English. He and his mother waited there to gave me the key. His mother spoke a few words of English. They were friendly and one of the few times on my trip that I actually saw the owners. They showed me how things work . They provided ample coffee packets and a big bottle of water . Water is drinkable from the tap. The apartment is quite big and has room for 2 person and a child comfortably. The apartment has everything . It is the best equipped kitchen that I ever stayed in. The apartment being on the first floor as clearly stated in the description , means that you can’t open the window without losing your privacy. The window can be opened and have curtains. Occasionally there were people talking outside that you could hear loudly but it wasn’t a problem. One night at 2:30 am someone talked outside but it wasn’t for long. The locations is very close to the Cathedral and many eateries. Next the Cathedral is a bus stop to go the airport.

Even though the Booking.com description said Spoken Language is Italian and English . It wasn’t quite correct as little English was spoken but it was fine as we used Google Translate and the WiFi works well. The apartment always seems to me sloped up from the front door to the apartment. It somehow doesn’t seem 100 % level. There are many things in the apartment and maybe a bit too much but that is a very personal preference. The shower water pressure and flow are a bit weaker than all the hotels that I have stayed in. It’s not bad though . The toilet seat is unusually high. I am 5 foot 8 inches ( 1.727 meters ) tall and honestly the soles of my feet aren’t completely touching the ground. My feet weren’t dangling but if the toilet is 2 inch higher I would have major problems. For a shorter person this might poses a problem . But I saw a step ladder in the kitchen that might help.There are 3 steps between the kitchen/living room and the bedroom and bathroom. One day I didn’t remember many times I climbed the steps.

L' appartamento è provvisto di tutte le comodità utili per una positiva quotidianità. È lontano dai rumori e nello stesso tempo vicinissimo al centro storico, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. L' ospitalità educata ed accogliente.
