Brilliant week, Colyton fabulous village with lots of amenities.
Great location despite on street parking always found a space nearby. Ivana was brilliant answered her phone immediately and sorted out plumber for leak in bathroom which was sorted same day with no inconvenience to us. Perfect for coast or countryside only 3 miles from Seaton and a tram if you want to use it. A tasting trip to Lyme Bay winery well worth it. Booking essential but a shop open most days and lovely gifts to buy. Just 2 miles north at Shute.
Old property smelled of damp on entering property but went after opening windows. Shower over bath needed a hook to attach shower head to the wall to save holding it.

A great hub for exploring the area.
The impresion I got when I first wlked in was that it was like my Grandma's home. Not modern but very homely, comfortable.
The upstairs shower can't be hung rom a bracket it has no be hand held.

Lovely, comfortable cottage .
The cottage was very clean and comfortable, had everything you could need for your stay in a good location. We appreciated the complimentary fresh milk , sparkling wine and biscuits. Everything was well labelled and clear instructions in the cottage. Good internet also! I would recommend the property to others.
It had a damp smell downstairs the whole time we were there, maybe because it had been closed up for a while?.... The curled up rug in the entrance hall needs replacing as it's a trip hazard, we both tripped on it.
