The Strand u15

Great location. Everything you want or need is only a stones throw away. Even though it's right on the Strand in the heart of things, it's quiet at night. The balconies are terrific, the bed is comfortable, and having a washing machine and clothes dryer is always welcome. It looked better than the photos. The agent was easy to contact and checked in on us after the first night.

Suggested they get another fry pan but otherwise nothing.

The management system doesn't allow for quick resolution of problems The host has to ask the owner to respond. Not good enough when we have already paid for the facilities. Eg clothes dryer didn't work at all, instructions for cooktop were inadequate, no oven, faulty microwave So we basically couldn't cook which is why we paid for an apartment

Apartment needs some updating, no oven, no on-site reception

The position overlooking the beach was great the view was beautiful. The close proximity to eating places. The walking trail was just across the road.

The booking in process was not so easy when collecting keys for person who has not done this procedure before.Instructions for getting keys were not very clear. The phone call after we dropped off keys in exactly the same way they asked to leave them and them asking us where were the keys. The bed was very uncomfortable I couldn’t have stay one more night. It was like sleeping on the floor. The step to get into the bath was too high to get leg over with a sore back. It was very noisy at night there were work men with a petrol pressure washer outside our building at 1100 pm at night for a couple of hours.
