Beautiful house, furnishings and decor. Photos do not do it justice. So beautiful and spacious…great kitchen area, with plenty of dining space. Large lounge and big comfy sofa. Bedrooms are lovely, superb bedding and beautiful bathrooms. The master bedroom is outstanding! Lovely gardens and hot tub, with robes and towels provided in the garden room.
Great communication with host…happy to help and very responsive to our questions. Location is great… lots of lovely places close by and plenty of attractions just a short drive away.
We were a family of adults and had plenty of room.
Distinct lack of expected basics…particularly at £1400 for 3 nights. No soap in the bathrooms, even though there were soap dispensers (empty), no basic condiments (salt, pepper, oil), no kitchen roll, no hair dryer, no barbecue utensils or anything to clean bbq with. Apart from sachets of coffee/tea/sugar/uht milk cartons, you need to take absolutely everything with you. This could be because the house is operated by a large company, rather than a personal homeowner, so no usual ‘welcome pack’ or general basics.
