About this villa rental
The Villa is located in the heart of Umbria, just a few kilometres from the region's main cities of art. It stands on the gentle hills overlooking Assisi, Spello and Perugia, in the middle of an olive grove carefully and respectfully maintained by the owner. In the large garden there is also a swimming pool (open from the beginning of May to the end of September; it measures 9 m x 5 m with a water height of 1.2 m). This house is particularly suitable for those who like to isolate themselves in total privacy without giving up the incomparable view. In fact, from the house it is possible to see some of Umbria's beautiful historic centres, starting with Bettona, a small medieval town (of Etruscan origin) that can easily be reached on foot. Of particular note is the central position with respect to the region's cities of art, all of which can be reached by car in between 10 and 45 minutes.
The Villa consists of 3 completely independent portions, 2 for rent (the Large Apartment and the Attic-Mansard) and 1 for use by the owners. As you can read from the comments of guests who have visited the house in the past, the owners' presence is particularly discreet and typically much appreciated.
The Large Apartment consists of (see also photographs): front porch, large entrance hall, large living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, 4 large bedrooms, 2 large full bathrooms, 1 small bathroom, a large terrace with beautiful views, a smaller terrace. The house is complete with everything you need to live it to the full (including bed linen and towels); if there are any special needs, they can be requested from the owners. Free internet access via wireless is available.

We booked about one year ahead of our stay. The interaction we had with our host was greatly appreciated and upon arrival we were in awe as it was more than we expected. The views, pool, all bedrooms and bathrooms were what was expected. The table at the entry way superseded anything that we expected or encountered. Different languages, suggestions for short trips, day trips, history, choices of venues, restaurants and answers to any question. Renato was very helpful in sending us directions to the Villa and he even sprayed our cars to remove dust and dirt prior to our departure.In every way

The house is very spacious und nicely decorated. There is everything one can need during the stay. The owner is very friendly. And the view from the terrace is unforgettable. Highly recommended!

magnificent view and location. The fantastic house is complete and equipped with all comforts. This house with great driveway, garden, olive grove fits perfectly with Umbria. very centrally located. within 30 minutes drive many great and historic towns. in short, a must.

This is a great house, large, comfortable, with an incredible view of Bettona and then the rest of the valley, including Perugia behind.
Renato could hardly be more responsive, including when we tripped a circuit breaker (dumped some water where it shouldn't have been) late a night. I sent an SMS and he was up to fix everything in one minute.
If you're looking around Italy and ready to move beyond Tuscany, this is a great location from which to visit a bunch of places. We've spent a week on each of our two visits and didn't come close to covering the area.
The house is cleaner than a whistle. When my wife wants to take the housekeepers with her, you know they are great.
As you may or may not be able to tell there is a deck to the back and a porch on the front. We went back and forth taking advantage of sun and/or shade depending on what we were looking for.
I have never actually been in the pool. But my son last time and my niece this time thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it is not heated.
I can hardly recommend this place highly enough.
