Holiday Prato Verde, is situated in Chiatri Puccini, a small town on the hills surrounding Lucca , in Tuscany.
Our family manage the restaurant Prato Verde for over Sixty years and in 2000 we have realized a summer residence to offer an holiday characterized by cordiality and hospitality that always has distinguished us.
We give the maximum attention to the guest's needs without ignoring their comfort.
The special position offers a spectacular and unique view: northeasterly there are the Appennines, in the south east there are Pisa and Livorno, in the west the Massaciuccoli Lake , the Viareggio coast and Forte Dei Marmi.
You can admire this panoramic view lying down comfortably on the swimming pool edge or when you are on the flat's terraces that are surrounded by olives and woods to have a fresh and windy climate also in the summer.
Holiday Prato Verde is situated in a peaceful oasis but in a few minutes you can reach some famous seaside resorts (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Torre del Lago, Forte dei Marmi and Lerici).
You can rent only the apartment Gelsomino or Gelsomino with the room Giglio. You should contact the owner to rent the extra room Giglio
Gelsomino is composed double bed, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen , sofa bed, terrcae and garden where you can eat and relax. Upstairs with independent entrance there is the room Giglio. It is composed a double bedroom, bathroom with shower and two big terrace where you can see a wonderful view.
The apartment Gelsomino has a gazebo, terrace, garden, satellite TV, WI FI, private parking, barbecue and laundromat It is located a 15 minutes drive from Lucca and Viareggio.
Guests have the possibility to use the swimming pool provided with a sterilization system by salt ( without the use of chlorine) and a large solarium.
It also offers spaces for children's games and a large park surrounding the property that creates a serenity oasis giving the possibility to go for a walk in the nature.
An ideal place for families holidays where they can find open and safe places for their children.
You can also reach in a few minutes the city of Lucca where it's possible to observe Roman, Medieval and Renaissance testimonies.
Not too far there are cities of historical, cultural and tourist's interest (Pisa, Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Barga, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano).

The location is magical, incredible 360 views, with a sense of restful calm. The appartment was small but perfectly adequate and cleverly laid out, maximising both indoor and outdoor space. We were met on arrival with a warm reception at the family restaurant next door, with amazing antipasti. There were some useful utensils missing from the kitchen, however Mara and her sister Laura were more than happy to help us out at any time. The pool, although chilly in April, had spectacular views over the coast. Having a car was absolutely essential given the hilltop location, but it was an easy drive into Lucca, from where we could get trains to nearby cities like Florence for the day. Driving up into the hills to Barga is well worth it too. Thoroughy enjoyed our week here, and highly recommend it.

At the first meeting we knew we had made a good choice. Such a warm and friendly greeting, Lara and Mara (and Mum) looked after us brilliantly
The accommodation is excellent and the food is the best you will get. Cooked to order and so fresh we ate in their restaurant every night. The prices are so reasonable.
Thanks again ladies we will be back

Very good place where we stayed 2 weeks. Very good service level, clean, lovely site. It was very nice holidays. We'd like to return to Pratoverde !
Accueillis à notre arrivée par la famille Angeli, avec un "appetizer" pour nous mettre immédiatement à l'heure Toscane, nous avons passé 2 semaines au calme, relaxantes. A proximité de Lucques (~20 minutes) , Pise (~30 minutes), nous avons pu aussi parcourir la Toscane vers les carrières de marbre de Carrara, ainsi que Sienne, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano...
La résidence est située sur les hauteurs des collines de Chiatri, avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes (Alpes Apuanes) d'un côté, et la mer de l'autre (double terrasse). Possibilité de petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner au restaurant de la famille. Le petit-déjeuner est énorme !!
La résidence et les abords sont très propres et très bien entretenus. La (grande) piscine jouxte la résidence. Le tout entouré des Oliviers de l'exploitation de la famille.
Mara et toute sa famille ont été à l'écoute de toutes nos questions.
A peine revenus de vacances, on repartirait bien à PratoVerde.
