Lone Star Lake House is nestled in the woods along the shore of Beaver Lake. It is comfortable and roomy, so get the family together and come enjoy everything the lake has to offer.

Enter the house via the white screen door into the large kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances a breakfast bar, and a rustic stone backsplash. The open floor plan allows for cooking while enjoying conversation with friends or family at the breakfast bar or the dining area. There is a large rustic wood dining table in front of the stone fireplace. On each side of this area are two living spaces. On the left is a sectional sofa and a smart TV and on the right is a convertible sofa sleeper and a smaller table for board games or additional dining.

On each side of the central stone fireplace are patio doors leading you out to the wooded lake view from the covered deck. The left side is partially screened with cushioned seating and a bar-height game center. On the right is an outdoor dining table and gas grill.

The primary suite is located on the right side of the home past the breakfast bar and dining area. It has a private bath with two entry points, one from the bedroom and one from the laundry room, which is off the hall next to the bedroom. The other bedroom on the main floor is off the kitchen. Upstairs on the left is a bedroom with a private deck overlooking a heavily wooded lake view, which is much more visible in late fall, winter, and early spring.

This house has another entrance on the left side via a walk deck that goes to a sunny deck with Adirondack chairs, perfect for working on the tan. There is a gentle sloping path to the water's edge. Guests can swim at the shore!

You can swim, float, fish, and access the shoreline without any issues. If you would like to bring your boat and trailer it daily, there is a large area next to the house along the county road to park trailered boats and vehicles. (Approximately 20 yards from the house.)

Beautiful place, amazing view, and we absolutely loved the location! There were neighbors close enough to see but still very quiet and almost secluded. Cleaner was still there when we arrived so we didn’t check in until later. She also didn’t clean as well as we expected but overall it was a nice trip! 4/5

This house is a lakefront property with limited access to the waterfront, making it less suitable for older individuals or those with mobility issues. It's nice that it's away from high traffic and the city, but it does come with a lengthy drive on winding, narrow gravel roads and a steep incline driveway, as well as limited parking. The house itself is very roomy. There are three floors, with the lowest being unavailable to renters. The path to the lakefront is on an incline, and the path leading to the lake has loose pieces of wood that create steps. It is easier and safer to walk on the grass, but even then, the elderly or those with mobility issues should avoid walking to the water. There is no easily accessible area on the shore for fishing or swimming, which we had hoped to do during our stay. Much of the deck furniture had loose armrests or broken seats. The grill was rusted and not in excellent condition, but it was usable. Many minor repairs could be made to the property to make the house nicer, but creating easier access to the water with a safe path that everyone can use would make this property much more enjoyable. We also had issues with the downstairs air conditioning and contacted maintenance. They came to fix it three days after we reported the problem, so we had cool air for the last day and night of our stay. The house was pretty clean, but there were a few items, such as a mildewed shower curtain that was torn and could not stay entirely on the rod. It's OK

The house is roomy but could use some TLC. A few things like patio furniture, the air conditioning, and a few things in the house need repair or replacement. The path to the lake is okay for young people, but it really needs some work for safety reasons. It also needs some clearing of shrubs and trees to truly make the shore accessible for fishing and swimming. We booked this property because we thought we would be able to do those things easily, but it was not quite the case as we are not spring chickens, and we had elderly parents with us who could not safely walk the path or use the shore. This place would be great with some work and attention to safety for all ages. If you rent, make sure you are okay with driving narrow gravel roads with twists and turns to get to the property. There is a steep slope downward to the house, so going up to leave is fun.

The home was very sweet and cozy. Lots of room. We unfortunately came during a time that it’s was unexpectedly rainy and flooded so having a big space for inside games and fun was really great. Thank you for making our first family vacation lots of fun!!
