The home is in a great location. Easy access to the beach and shopping. The lake view and screened in back patio were fantastic. I would stay at this property again and will recommend it to family and friends.

A wonderful property in an amazing part of the world. We have a fantastic time here and visiting friends and family and some fantastic places. A hire car is recommended to get to see all the great places. The view over the lake is so peaceful and relaxing, however only one fountain was working so the picture on the website showing the view is not quite right. We noticed a hairdryer was not in the house, after emailing Gibson beach rentals, they had one with us within a few hours. Excellent service! The only downside was we did have a knock on the door a couple of times from residents- apparently we are unable to use the glorious weather to dry our beachwear and other washing. The resident was quite abrupt in making that known and told us there was a dryer in the house to use ( not all our items could be used in a dryer)!!The second time we had a knock on the door was when we had family visiting for a few hours. They made a point of coming down and telling us that the car they came in could not be left on the street overnight. This was never the case but it seems lots of busy bodies about! Another point to note is that you are unable to use the toilets/changing facilities at the pool and the pool is not heated so quite cool on a morning. But does warm up during the day. We would definitely stay here again now we are aware of the “Kara Lake Police”. It really has not spoilt our fantastic holiday.
