OYO Hostel Myeongdong 5

I liked the 24 hour staff, and the locker situation. I felt that the complexity of a hostel was well-managed in regards to all the shared facilities, the rules were clear, and the space was welcoming.

One of the entrances is a lawsuit waiting to happen, the steep grade down is incredibly unsafe. I also felt like paper towels in the bathroom might have been in order with how wet everything becomes.

Very good location, with friendly and accommodating staff. The complimentary breakfast and rooftop terrace were nice bonuses. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and offered good value for money.

The room was relatively small, and the walls were quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway could easily be heard. I would recommend introducing quiet hours so that all guests are aware and can enjoy a more peaceful stay. The bed was also quite firm and could be more comfortable.

The best hostel in Myeongdong I've stayed so far. Location is great even tho it's uphill. Near myeongdong night market,myeongdong subway line 4, namsan tunnel 3 bus stop, myeongdong line 4 bus stop and close to airport bus as well. The room is spacious, I was quite shock of how spacious it was even tho there's like 16 (bunk) beds. I love how spacious the bathrooms as well, so clean and so private even tho it's a shared bathroom. Breakfast is great as well. I'm only eat light breakfast so cereal and bread is perfect for me. They could do your laundry as well, clothes will be given back before 10pm, which is great since you can save time doing laundry and just roam around for that time. Would definitely stay here again.

No regular cleaning…there are only 2 toilets for a 20 bed dormitory in total..
