Air conditioned and spacious room with the kindest staff

The accommodations were nice, air conditioning and fan in the bedroom and a fan in the kitchenette. There is a door between the bedroom and kitchen which is nice for those with different sleep schedules or to have some space. There is a vernanda with outdoor seating that we enjoyed. The staff were the kindest people and very hospitable. The beach is 4 blocks away and walking distance to restaurants and groceries.

Good place for short stay.

Very friendly owners! It was a pleasure to chat with them. Place a little bit on the sidelines, giving calm but close to any place with food or to the water. Easy to park car.

Pleasant, friendly family-run hotel on the edge of town.

Large, comfortable room and a friendly welcome. It's a little bit outside of the main area of town but well within walking distance and quiet at night. Plenty of free parking and good free Wi-Fi. Cool water available in reception.

We visited Hopkins as a 3 generation family group aged 1 to 55! Harada is on the back side of Hopkins town, not down in the resort district. We were a little nervous at first, Hopkins is definitely a village. But the property and rooms were clean, safe, and comfortable! It’s owned and operated by a local family — they were incredibly kind and communicative to our large group traveling together. Christy behind the desk helped us out with where to eat and park, and the best part was — EVERYONE we met in Hopkins was beyond kind and helpful. We are really disappointed that we only were there for a few days, it’s such lovely community.

Our only con was the location - it’s a few blocks back from the beach, and a little bit out of the main bustle of town. That means it’s lovely and quiet at night! But it’s also a (short) walk to get to a beach or restaurant. We had a vehicle though, and parking in Hopkins was a breeze — so this was not a problem for us at al!

De airco deed het niet goed genoeg in onze ogen. Zelfs als we ‘m op 16 graden zette was het nog warm in de kamer. Het bed was heel erg krap en lag niet lekker, voelde meer als een luchtbed of iets dergelijks. We vonden de prijs aan de hoge kant vergeleken met onze eerdere accomodaties in Belize. Ook staat in de beschrijving dat er gratis fietsen bij de accomodatie horen, helaas is dit niet het geval. De eigenaresse heeft daarom voor 1 dag fietsen voor ons gehuurd op haar kosten.
